How can we help you?

Bewdy (bewdybook.com) is an all-in-one platform for the beauty ecosystem, bringing beauty professionals, salons and their clients together in one place.

• For beauty professionals, Bewdy runs the whole business: online bookings, a calendar, upfront payments, reminders, client records, team scheduling, reports, marketing, and a marketplace listing that brings in new clients.
• For clients, Bewdy is where you discover, compare, book and pay verified hairstylists, braiders, makeup artists, nail technicians, barbers, aestheticians and spas.

It means beauty professionals can run their entire business on Bewdy instead of juggling Instagram, WhatsApp, bank transfers, a notebook and spreadsheets. On Bewdy you can:

• Get found: a verified profile and marketplace listing where new clients discover you.
• Get booked: online booking, a live calendar and automated reminders.
• Get paid: clients pay upfront in the app, and you're paid straight to your bank account as soon as the client confirms the service is complete with a one-time code (OTP).
• Manage clients: client records, booking history and in-app chat.
• Grow: verified reviews, promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Run the business: team scheduling, staff performance, revenue reports, inventory and multi-location management.

Bewdy is for everyone in the beauty ecosystem.

• Professionals: hairstylists, braiders, barbers, makeup artists, nail technicians, lash and brow artists, estheticians, massage therapists, spas, salons, beauty clinics, freelancers and mobile (home-service) professionals.
• Clients: anyone who wants to find and book a trusted beauty professional.

Bewdy works the same way for a one-person business and for a salon with several locations.

Bewdy currently operates in Nigeria and is available nationwide, including Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Benin City, Enugu and Kano. Beauty professionals and clients in any Nigerian city or state can sign up free on the Bewdy app or at bewdybook.com. Which professionals you can book depends on who is listed near you, so set your location in the app to see who's available.

Yes. Bewdy is free for beauty professionals, with no setup fee, no subscription and no commission. It's also free for clients to download and use. Clients only pay the price each professional sets for the service they book.

Yes. The Bewdy app is free on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Professionals use it to manage bookings, clients and payments on the go. Clients use it to discover, book and pay beauty professionals, get booking reminders and in-app deals, and rebook favourites in one tap. You can also use Bewdy on the web at bewdybook.com.

Bewdy is built for the way the beauty industry works in Nigeria:

• Clients pay in Naira by local bank transfer.
• Every professional is verified with their NIN, phone number, bank account and portfolio.
• It covers local services such as braids, cornrows and wig installation.
• Clients can filter for home service, with the transport fee already included in the price.
• It's completely free for beauty professionals, with no setup fee, subscription or commission.

Bewdy turns the back-and-forth of DMs into instant, protected bookings. Instagram and WhatsApp are great for showing your work, but booking through them means slow replies, haggling over prices, unpaid no-shows, and clients sending money to someone they can't verify. On Bewdy, clients see prices and availability, book instantly and pay upfront, and both sides are protected. Professionals can keep posting on Instagram and TikTok and add their Bewdy link to their bio so followers can book directly.

Bewdy gives beauty professionals everything they need to run and grow their business in one place, for free:

• More clients: your profile shows up to people searching for your service in your area.
• Fewer no-shows: every booking is paid upfront.
• Less admin: booking, reminders and payments happen automatically.
• More trust: you're verified, and your reviews come only from clients who completed a booking.

Bewdy combines salon booking and salon management tools in one free platform:

• online booking and a digital calendar
• automated appointment reminders
• upfront in-app payments
• client records and in-app chat
• team scheduling and staff performance tracking
• service and pricing management
• revenue tracking and financial reports
• marketing and promotional campaigns
• review management, inventory tracking and multi-location support

Yes. Bewdy is completely free for beauty professionals. There is no setup fee, no monthly subscription and no commission, whether a client finds you through Bewdy or is one of your regulars. You keep what you charge, and you get online booking, reminders, client management, payments and a marketplace listing at no cost.

Any beauty or wellness professional in Nigeria can join Bewdy. That includes:

• hairstylists, braiders and barbers
• makeup artists, nail technicians, and lash and brow artists
• estheticians, massage therapists and spas
• salons, beauty clinics and multi-location businesses
• freelancers and mobile beauty professionals who offer home service

To join Bewdy as a beauty professional you need:

• a valid NIN (National Identification Number)
• a phone number
• a Nigerian bank account for payouts
• photos of your work for your portfolio
• your list of services, prices and opening hours

Bewdy verifies your NIN, phone number, bank account and portfolio before your profile goes live. Joining is free.

1. Download the Bewdy app or sign up at bewdybook.com and choose the business option.
2. Add your services, Naira prices, opening hours, location and portfolio photos.
3. Complete verification (NIN, phone, bank account and portfolio).

Setting up takes about 3 minutes. Once you're verified, clients can find and book you.

Bewdy puts your business in front of clients who are already looking for your service. Your profile appears when people search on Bewdy for your service in your area, and on Bewdy's city and service pages such as "braids in Lagos". Verified reviews from completed bookings build trust with new clients, and you can share your Bewdy booking link on Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp so followers can book you directly.

Bewdy reduces no-shows in three ways:

• Upfront payment: every booking is paid from the client's Bewdy Wallet at the time of booking, with no pay-at-venue option.
• Automatic reminders: clients are reminded before the appointment.
• Cancellation policy: clients who cancel less than 24 hours before, or don't show up, may not be refunded, which protects your time and income.

Clients pay upfront on Bewdy, so you don't need to collect deposits. Every booking is paid in full from the client's Bewdy Wallet when they book, so you never have to chase transfers or send account numbers on WhatsApp.

You get paid straight to your verified Nigerian bank account as soon as you finish the service. The client pays upfront when they book, and Bewdy holds the payment until the appointment is done. Then:

1. The client taps Completed on the booking in their Bewdy app.
2. Bewdy sends the client a one-time code (OTP).
3. The client gives you the OTP.
4. You enter the OTP in your Bewdy app, and the payment is sent to your verified bank account immediately.

Bewdy takes no commission on your bookings.

You pay on Bewdy from your Bewdy Wallet. Each user gets a unique account number, and you top it up by bank transfer from any Nigerian banking app. Every booking is paid upfront in the app when you book; there is no pay-at-venue option. Your booking is confirmed once payment goes through.

Yes. Payments on Bewdy go through secure, encrypted payment technology with fraud detection. Because you pay in the app instead of by direct transfer to an individual, every booking is on record, and Bewdy Support can step in if something goes wrong. Your payment is only released to the professional after you confirm the service is complete by sharing your one-time code (OTP), so a professional can't be paid for a service they didn't deliver.

No. Bewdy Wallet funds can only be spent on Bewdy bookings. They can't be withdrawn or transferred to another user, but they don't expire.

All Bewdy bookings are paid upfront from your Bewdy Wallet; there is no pay-at-venue option. Paying at booking secures your slot, protects professionals from lost income from no-shows, and keeps your payment on record so Bewdy Support can help if anything goes wrong. If you cancel 24 hours or more before your appointment, you get a full refund to your wallet.

Bewdy's cancellation policy depends on timing:

• 24 hours or more before the appointment: full refund to your Bewdy Wallet.
• Less than 24 hours before: you may not get a refund.
• If you don't show up: no refund, because the professional kept that time for you.
• If the professional cancels or doesn't show up: you always get a full refund to your Bewdy Wallet.

Approved refunds on Bewdy go back to your Bewdy Wallet for your next booking. You get a full refund if you cancel 24 hours or more ahead, if a professional cancels or doesn't show up, or if you're charged twice. If a professional doesn't show up, report it to Bewdy Support and don't share your one-time code (OTP). Wallet funds can't be withdrawn to a bank account, but they never expire.

If a professional cancels your booking or doesn't show up, you always get a full refund to your Bewdy Wallet. Your payment is never released to a professional until you confirm the service is complete by sharing your one-time code (OTP), so you never pay for a service you didn't receive. If a professional doesn't show up, don't share your OTP; report it to Bewdy Support through in-app chat, at support@bewdybook.com, or on 0704 515 1796.

Go to My Bookings, select the appointment and choose Cancel or Reschedule, at least 24 hours before the appointment. If rescheduling isn't available for that service, cancel and rebook.

You can contact Bewdy support through in-app chat, by email at support@bewdybook.com, or by phone on 0704 515 1796 (+234 704 515 1796 from outside Nigeria). The same contact details apply to both clients and beauty professionals.

Go to Settings or Profile and choose Delete Account. Spend any wallet balance first, because funds in a deleted account can't be refunded. Deletion is permanent and removes your booking history, reviews and preferences.

Tap the heart icon on a professional's profile. They'll appear in your Favourites for one-tap rebooking.

Go to Profile, then Location Preferences. Choose your GPS location or enter a custom location, adjust the search distance and save.
